Review: This book really does make you think about your
high school years. This book probably hit a little closer to home and made me
think back on those days. The way the author wrote the novel really puts it
into perspective. It really shows how as a person looking at someone else, you
really don’t see what they see. I was that kid in high school so felt like I
never fit in and was over weight. I personally connected with the book a lot
more than I thought I would. When the truth came out, I felt her pain. I felt
how much that it hurt her, it was like a repeat in my life. But I feel like
this is a book that should be mentioned in schools. I think it would be a good
book to use against bulling, because at the end of the day we don’t know what
someone else is going through, or how they see themselves. I would recommend
that young adults take the time to read this, it would be well worth the read.
