Frankie has lived in Salem all her life-but then again, she's only been alive fifteen days. She sets out to conquer high school, boys, and shopping, in that order. Unfortch, people freak over Frankie's mint-green skin instead of applauding her voltage fashion sense. If she wants to fit in as a "normie" at Merston High, she's going to have to hide a monster of a secret. 
Instead, she risks it all for a stolen kiss- a mistake that could cost her everything.
 
My thoughts:
Monster High was a very fun and enjoyable read. Frankie was a very surprising and charasmatic character, and it was really frustrating seeing her have to hide who she really was just because everyone would see her as a monster. Melody was also a great addition to the book, and her normal attitude evened out the monster filled atmosphere. Harrison has created a fun tale about the trials of coming of age, and learning how to be yourself. The ending has a huge cliffhanger, and I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
