Summary: (as quoted from Harlequin Teen’s eBook store) A Midsummer's Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts.
Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help—into the heart of the Summer Court. And Puck faces the ultimate choice—betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.

My thoughts:
This novella was everything I expected and more. Summer’s Crossing starts where The Iron Queen left off; With Puck and Ash looking for “a certain cat”. But before they get very far, they meet an exiled faery who demands a favor from Ash. Now with Puck’s assistance , Ash must journey into the heart of Summer territory, and Puck must decide whether or not to betray his ex-best friend. I loved the fact that this novella is told from Puck’s perspective; it really gave insight to his inner struggle, and how even though it seems like he takes nothing seriously on the outside, he is always very tactical on the inside. This is a great book, and a must read for any Iron Fey fan.
5/5
