Summary: (as quoted from Harlequin Teen’s eBook store) Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck—Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon—who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.
Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter—a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

My thoughts: Winter’s Passage takes place right after the events of The Iron King and before the events of The Iron Daughter. When Ash and Meghan start their journey to Queen Mab’s palace, their only concern (and it’s a big one) is whether Meghan will freeze to death- Until something starts following them. A creature, a wolf that has existed much longer then the fey. The book is extremely suspenseful, especially for a novella. Every time I thought I’d figured the plot out, it would turn out I was completely wrong. A great addition to The Iron Fey series, I definitely recommend it.
5/5
